Feel Good. Be Strong.
Change Your Body.
Hi, I’m Craig Levergood.
I’m a trainer in Denver. I work with a wide range of clients from professional athletes, to lawyers, to accountants, to my sister. My ideal client is someone with a positive mindset, goal oriented and willingness to work hard. That’s pretty much it.
I understand that every individual requires something different, however there are principles of training that I apply to every one of my clients. I will always provide a customized approach while holding steadfast to these fundamental principles…
Have a plan – Exercise is great for you. But can also be extremely limiting and borderline detrimental if you don’t have a proper program. This is why my programs will be structured to progress you towards your ultimate goal.
Proper technique – No ego lifting. Nobody cares how much you can bench. I’ll be providing you with the proper instruction and program based on sound loading principles in order to reduce the likelihood of injuries and advance your capacity for growth.
Let’s have fun! – I’m not trying to fluff this up. Training is an arduous journey. However, I will use my principles of training to keep your workouts from being stale and mundane. We will consistently be working towards a bigger goal while using methods that evolve over time to keep things fun and engaging.
Time and work required – My programs work…if you do. I can show you the best practices inside of the gym and develop a plan to keep you accountable. However, the plan will only work according to the time and effort you put in. I can’t promise that you’ll love working out, but you will develop habits that can be modified to your lifestyle.
As a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), through the National Strength and Conditioning Association, I am committed to helping my clients develop muscle, strength and performance capabilities that will help them live a fulfilling lifestyle and perform the activities that they love.
In addition to my private training business, I’m also passionate about education. I graduated from the University of Delaware with a B.S. in Sport Management and am currently pursuing my M.A. through the Sport Coaching and Strength and Conditioning program at the University of Denver.
I also enjoy writing and communicating through blogs, journals, and other forms of publication. You can view much of my current writing in the blog section of my website.
